Nap in the hallway??

I put Jackson down for his afternoon nap and went to take one myself. I thought I heard him walking around in the hallway, so I waited a few minutes because sometimes he'll come out and then go back to his bed. After a while I didn't hear anything and assumed he had gone back in to lay down. About 45 minutes later, this is what I found. Pretty cute! Just like his Dad, he can sleep about anywhere if he is tired enough.

Jackson - 20 mos, 30 lbs!!

Jackson is the cutest little boy in the whole world!! And what a little ham! He is also the reason my arms stay toned... he's not officially a toddler yet and already weighs 30 pounds. Luckily, he is still in the 90th percentile for height... very proportionate, but definitely SOLID!!
Jackson still loves stuffed animals (he has his favorites and is VERY attached) and any type of ball. He loves cars, trucks (especially big ones, and gets extra excited if they make loud noises), tractors, dogs, birds... any animal actually. He loves to be tickled... I think that's kind of funny.

Baby Kate - 5 weeks old, 11.5 pounds

We are having so much fun with our Baby Kate. Jackson loves her to pieces too! I thought I would take a few more pictures before we pack everything up to head back home... then school will begin and life will get crazier for a while!

Kate's bath...

Not a great picture of me, but that's okay. It's not about me, it's about this cute little girl who seems to enjoy her baths. I love her in this little flower towel... okay, so I am starting to get the hang of this "pink" thing (and I think this flower towel is SUPER cute!). I'm still not looking forward to teenage years with PMS, but that's still a long way ahead of us. I'm just trying to enjoy this time with my kids... I wouldn't trade them for anything!!

Cannon Beach, Oregon coast

Jackson absolutely LOVED the beach! I expected him to be much more cautious than he was. He also spent quite a lot of time chasing seagulls. It was SO much fun to be there with him as he thoroughly enjoyed his first experience at the ocean beach!!

A better view of Kate... she was not very fond of the sun in her face nor the wind on her face. I imagine that will change as she grows older if she is anything like her big brother.

we tried so hard to get one of the four of them, but 2 toddlers and 2 newborns all posing the way YOU would like just usually doesn't work out. oh well. we'll have many years ahead of us to take cute pics together!

We'll get some better ones so you can see the HUGE difference in size, but these babies look about a month apart in age and although drastically smaller in size, Chloe is actually 3 days older than Kate!

Jackson was a little sad because he was stuck! Kind of funny!
Ohh!! SO cute!! They are BOTH hugging each other voluntarily and being gentle! Amazing! I guess our little babies are growing up.
