It is fun to have visitors, but also hard to give up time holding Jackson knowing that I will be in school about 40 hours a week beginning tomorrow.

Jackson, 4 Days Old

I know that I am camera happy, but we have grandparents who are dying to see pictures, and I don't want to miss a minute! Then, I take so many and think they're all cute, so I can't narrow down which to share and which not to. (Believe it or not, I feel guilty on the days that I don't take a picture... I'm sure I will get over this eventually.)

Little Bundle, Long & Lean like Daddy

I forgot how big the little pacifiers look on a newborn baby! Parker taught Jackson how to take his pacifier and keep it in his mouth the first night in the hospital (New Years Eve/Day). They are quite a team!

This was our second full day in the hospital. It was nice to have your food brought in when you were supposed to eat and have someone clean up after you... however, we were about ready to sleep in our own bed and have Jackson at home!

Visitors on New Years Day!

Here are a few more pictures from our New Years Day visit. Most of the family got sick, so they headed back to Seattle, but wanted to stop by for one last visit.

Our first morning together. It was a really good night. Jackson slept through it. Parker went home to sleep a little and I celebrated the New Year (midnight) by myself... well, with my new son alseep in my arms. Parker came back around 12:45am and we slept some more.
